We are seeking passionate, patient-focused, service-oriented healthcare professionals to join our team!

Shift: Monday - Friday, 20-29 hours each week

Status: Part-Time

Overall Responsibility:

The physical therapy department tech will assist with patient care to increase, maintain or restore function, minimize or prevent disability and assist patients in reaching their maximum performance levels. The physical therapy tech will work under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, occupational therapy, or physical therapy assistant.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Assist in administering various types of therapeutic treatment procedures and to include, but not limited to:
    •   Moist heat
    •   Cryotherapy
    •   Ultrasound
    •   Electrical Stimulation
    •   Whirlpool
    •   Therapeutic exercise
    •   Isokinetic exercise
  • Report patient reactions to supervising therapist
  • Assist in the maintenance, care and cleaning of departmental equipment and supplies
  • Participate in conferences and educational programs designed to improve patient care and staff performance.
  • Assist in the patient’s treatment program


Required Skills:

Licensure and Certification:

  • BCLS, if not current, certification within 90 days of hire.

Required Experience:

Experience required:

  • Prefer 1-2 years P.T. Tech experience in outpatient setting.
