OCOM - Sedation / GI Nurses are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. What You’ll Do
As an Endo/Sedation Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe and compassionate patient care in our endoscopy department. You will:
✔️ Provide expert nursing care while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
✔️ Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
✔️ Maintain an aseptic environment and uphold hospital policies.
✔️ Educate and support patients and families, ensuring a positive experience.
✔️ Remain calm and composed during high-stress situations.
✔️ Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to help shape the future of patient care.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Licensure:
✔ Graduate of an accredited nursing school
✔ Oklahoma RN License (or eligibility)
✔ BLS certification within 30 days of hire
✔ ACLS/PALS (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
Experience:
✔ Minimum 1 year experience in sedation
✔ At least 1 year in ICU, Endoscopy, OR, or PACU settings
✔ Strong leadership & clinical skills
