Position: OR Radiology Technologist
Location: South OKC
Hours: Full-time

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a key part of the surgical team, ensuring imaging support for procedures

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment per physician request

  • Minimize radiation exposure using safety protocols and patient shielding

  • Maintain accurate documentation of imaging in medical records

  • Ensure all imaging orders are verified and compliant

  • Educate surgical staff on radiation safety measures

  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and service needs

  • Assist in maintaining radiographic supply inventory

  • Support the surgical team with other tasks as needed to facilitate procedures


Required Experience, Skills, Licensure, and Certification:

  • Degree from an accredited radiology program

  • Active ARRT registration within one year of hire

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment


Environmental and Physical Requirements:

  • Work in a temperature-controlled surgical setting

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English

  • Cognitive skills for math, reading, and computer tasks

  • Physical ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and up to 20 lbs. frequently

  • Ability to push, pull, reach, kneel, and stoop

  • Exposure to hazardous materials, bloodborne pathogens, and infectious diseases
