The Director of Outpatient Therapy Services provides administrative support to all Outpatient Therapy Clinic Managers in order to advance organizational outpatient therapy strategic initiatives.   Assists in revising, developing and implementing, policies, procedures, PI activities and program planning.  Maintains the standards of therapy care as established as well as regulatory standards. 

Essential Functions:

  • Assists in the development of monthly management reports and monitoring.  
  • Works directly with managers, physicians and administration to maintain and advance compliance with Outpatient Therapy care standards, regulatory compliance and quality initiatives.
  • Ensures Outpatient Therapy compliance with DNV requirements, i.e. corrective action plans, auditing etc.
  • Designs and implements consistent benchmarks across the Clinic offices.
  • Responsible for fiscal oversight by actively working on the development and monitoring of budgetary reports for all Clinic locations for review and participation at Hospital Operations Review.
  • Liaise with other agencies, organizations and groups.
  • Directly involved in strategic marketing and sale in order to increase business.
  • Optimize patient satisfaction and provider satisfaction with efficient and effective care.
  • Coordinate with all Hospital leadership on organizational initiatives.
  • Professionally communicates with the healthcare team members, including physicians, physician’s office staff and fellow Hospital leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure/Certification:  Current licensure as a Therapist in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Education:  Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences
  • Experience:  Minimum of three (3) years management experience in an Outpatient Therapy.
  • Working knowledge of governmental regulations and other reimbursement criteria preferred.
  • Ability to complete forms, complex correspondence and accurately enter data.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with patients, physicians, administration, and the hospital management team.
  • Demonstrates ability to handle multiple tasks with short time-lines, prioritize and organize work, and complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Exceptional ability to interact and communicate effectively, tactfully, and diplomatically with patients, families, medical staff, co-workers, employers and insurance company representatives.
  • Skill in using office equipment: basic computer skills, photocopier, telephone, fax machine, and calculator.
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act decisively in a timely manner.
  • Ability to maintain operational knowledge of all insurance requirements necessary to achieve optimal reimbursement.  
  • AHA BLS-HCP within 30 days.
