Oklahoma City, Oklahoma HPIP Nees (100103)Part Time Physician Assistant needed for South OKC Neurosurgeon
Physician Assistant (PA-C) will work closely with neurosurgeon Dr. Jeffrey Nees to provide comprehensive care to patients requiring spine evaluation and treatment.
Responsibilities include:
- New patient assessments, return visits, pre-operative and post-operative evaluations
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, medical management, wound assessment, patient education, and coordination of care with referring providers
- The PA-C will support Dr. Nees in both clinical and hospital settings
Requirements:
- Current PA license in State of Oklahoma with NCCPA Certification
- Valid DEA and OBNDD or ability to obtain
- Experience in neurosurgery, orthopedic spine, pain management, critical care or surgical specialty preferred
- Strong diagnostic reasoning and ability to perform focused neurological exams
- Experience with EMR systems and surgical workflow preferred.
