Radiology Technician DAYSs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. Responsibilities
Community Hospital OKC North
Community Hospital OKC North, is seeking a motivated Radiology Technologist to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with two years of experience.The technologist will provide services timely and efficiently at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department.The Technologist will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Imaging Services Policy and Procedure Manual.Has a working competence in other specialized areas, Surgery, and CT.Required to work holidays as well as being responsible for rotating call for emergency procedures after hours.Will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.Always works as a team member within the entire facility.Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Certification – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Graduate of Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCRET) required.
- Two years of experience required and must be proficient in diagnostic radiology.One Year working competency in one section of other specialized area: Surgery and/or CT.
- BLS healthcare required within 30 days of hire.
