At Harbor Heights Surgery Center, we believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high-quality, service-oriented environment for your surgical procedure. Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Orthopedic, General, ENT, Hand, and Podiatry.
Insurance Verifier at Harbor Heights Surgery Center
·Interface with patients and families, physicians, and staff.
·Update patient demographics/information in the system.
·Verify insurance benefits, obtaining proper authorization from the insurance carrier.
·Determine what funds to collect upon admission.
·Notify patients of monies due and document in billing system.
·Other duties as required or requested by chain of command.
Qualifications
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
·Minimum two years’ previous experience preferred
·Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
·Medical terminology and computer experience are beneficial
·Good communication skills.
·Basic computer knowledge-Word and Excel preferred

Salary:$20.26 to $26.50
