Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a motivated Patient Care Technician , Full Time to join our team.

Job Duties

Panhandle Outpatient Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Pensacola, Florida.   Panhandle Outpatient Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.  

Job Summary

Assists with direct patient care, patient flow through departments, answers phones, troubleshoots for nurses, chart building, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature as needed. Authorized to access storage areas for the purpose of performing patient care duties within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred
  • One year of experience is preferred
  • AHA BLS certification, required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
  • Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
  • Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
  • Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition and ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
