Phoenix, Arizona AZ West Endoscopy Center, LLC (15005)AZ West Endoscopy Center, is hiring a full-time Scheduler to join our growing team!
About the Opportunity
This position requires utilization of clinical knowledge to schedule appropriate procedures/surgeries per provider’s orders. The Scheduler must schedule office based and hospital procedures consistent with the patient’s diagnosis and procedure request. Also requires excellent customer service skills with patients, employees, and the public. The Surgical Scheduler must be able to respond to both written and oral correspondence regarding scheduling changes/cancellations in a timely, accurate manner. Individual must be organized, and be able to manage demanding workload with accuracy.
This position is Monday-Thursday. We offer a comprehensive benefits package with a starting hourly rate of $17 to $20 per hour!

Required Skills:
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Competency in the use of basic office equipment including computer, printer, telephone, and fax
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and remain poised and professional when interacting with potentially hostile patients and family members
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills
- Consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills and a positive attitude
Required Experience:
- High school education or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare scheduling (required)
