Patient Care Tech- PRN Weekdayss are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. Patient Care Tech at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Plano Alliance:
·Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport.
·Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment.
·Assists during patient examinations and procedures.
·Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations.
·Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical and/or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations
Qualifications
Education:
·High School diploma or equivalent
License:
·Current CPR or BLS.
·CNA, MA or other certifications preferred.
Required Experience:
·Minimum 1-year experience in a hospital setting preferred.
·Previous experience Electronic Healthcare Record helpful
