Overview
GI techs are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. GI techs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. Responsibilities
GI Tech for Hacienda Surgery Center in the Bay Area.
Experienced GI tech with impeccable references wanted for busy, multi-specialty ASC in the Bay area. Per-diem is available. Weekdays only, no holidays, no call. BLS required. Familiarity with Olympus scopes. Surgical tech experience is a plus (ortho, general, spine, ENT, ophthalmology).
- Has the will and the skill to complete multiple tasks aside from the GI case load
- Demonstrates professional behavior and a positive "can-do" attitude

- Demonstrates ability to work well within a small team that aims for optimum patient safety.
- Possesses a strong surgical conscience and attention to detail
Hourly Wage Range: $29 to $42 per hour
Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
Hacienda Surgery Center complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
