Certified Nursing Assistant FTs are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. Certified Nursing Assistant FTs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. Responsibilities
Northwest Portland ASC has an immediate need for a full time Certified Nursing Assistant!
Job Summary: Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations. Communicates with patients regarding pre-op instructions and assists RNs as needed. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active CNA license in the state of Oregon.
- 1+ years of CNA experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
- Prefer prior experience in surgery centers or fast-paced medical environment.
