Northwest ASC has an immediate need for a Part Time RadiologyTechnician

Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is a multi-specialty, ambulatory surgical center located in the northwest section of Portland, OR.We believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for all surgical procedures. We are accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

What You Will Do (Job Summary):

The Radiology Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including C-Arm operations on orthopedic, podiatry, hand, spine, and pain management surgery and procedures.  Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and other procedures. 

Key Duties Include

     *Orthopedic Radiology, Operating Room Radiology
     *Radiology
     *Perform Pain Blocks
     *File and log in OR X-Rays, 
     *Report system of radiology findings to physician.

Part-time hours are 20 - 29 hours per week 

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology or X Ray Technology.
  • 1+ years of experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in operating room setting.
  • ARRT Registered, State MRT and CPR Current.
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
  • Must possess independent decision making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
