Responsibilities
Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist -part time at Mercy Surgery Center!
Mercy Surgery Center is a fast paced, multi-specialty, ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Are you passionate about patient care and teamwork in the operating room? We’re looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist to be an essential part of our surgical team. In this role, you'll play a key part in preparing and maintaining instruments, equipment, and supplies for a wide variety of procedures—helping to ensure every surgery runs smoothly and safely.

What You’ll Do:
- Assist with surgical procedures by scrubbing in and working closely with the surgical team
- Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly prepared, maintained, and available when needed
- Help create a safe, efficient, and positive environment for patients and staff
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts and uphold the values of the Surgery Center
Monday-Friday work schedule
NO call required
NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Hourly Range: $35 - $45, depending on experience
Required Skills:
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Technician Program and 1-year surgical technician experience preferred.
- Experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
- Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
