Mercy Surgery Center has a PRN opening for a X Ray Technician - PRN. 

Mercy Surgery Centeris a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. 

What You will Do   (Job Summary):

The X Ray Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and other procedures. 

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Hourly Range: $42 - $50 / hour, depending on experience 


Required Skills:

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of an accredited program in RadiologyTechnology or X Ray Technology.
1+ years of previous experience required. Need experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in operating room setting.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification Required

CA Department of Health - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) Required

BLS current and accredited by AHA

Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
Must possess independent decision making skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
