Overview: The Director of Centralized Training serves as the strategic leader responsible for the development, standardization, and ongoing governance of training, process documentation, and quality assurance programs across USPI’s Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Surgical Hospital Revenue Cycle teams both stateside and offshore partners. This leader ensures that all new hire training, continuous employee education, performance coaching, operational workflows, and quality assurance standards are aligned, measurable, and consistently executed across the enterprise. This role supports both process improvement and operational effectiveness by building a learning culture that drives accuracy, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high performance. The Director will lead a team of Training Managers and collaborate closely with operational leadership to identify training gaps, develop solutions, evaluate results, and ensure staff meet expected performance and quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor Centralized Training Managers, Analyst, and Coordinators to ensure consistent delivery and performance outcomes.
  • Partner with RCM and Center Leadership to understand system updates, payer changes, performance trends, and employee skill gaps requiring training or intervention.
  • Ensure training initiatives align with organizational priorities and improvement roadmaps.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of a comprehensive new hire training curriculum across departments.
  • Establish measurable training outcomes that must be met before employee assignment to production teams.
  • Implement scheduled continuing education programs to reinforce compliance and performance standards.
  • Lead Quality Assurance framework, audit programs, and scoring systems to ensure work accuracy and adherence to RCM policies.
  • Partner with department leaders to address performance deficiencies and develop corrective action learning plans.
  • Provide reporting and actionable insights to RCM senior leadership regarding training outcomes, audit results, trends, competencies, and staffing readiness.
  • Communicate updates proactively to key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency across the organization.

Required Skills:

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Surgical Hospitals, or healthcare operations leadership.
  • 5+ years leadership experience managing trainers, education programs, or multi-site learning initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of RCM processes, payer requirements, claims adjudication, and A/R workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop training programs, measure learning outcomes, and drive performance improvement.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and translate insights into action plans.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and team leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with LMS or training technology preferred.
