Richmond, Texas Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Richmond (11029)Memorial Hermann Surgery Center – Richmond, located in the heart of Richmond, Texas, is an outpatient facility known for its commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate patient care. We’re seeking an experienced and dependable OR Circulator RN to support our surgical teams on a per-diem basis. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring patient safety, supporting the surgical team, and promoting a smooth and efficient workflow in the OR.
What You’ll Do:
- Circulate a variety of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, ENT, and more
- Prep and position patients, ensure consent and safety protocols are followed
- Maintain sterile field and ensure proper equipment setup
- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical techs to facilitate efficient case flow
- Document intraoperative details and respond to changes in patient condition
Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of OR protocols and surgical case flow
- Excellent critical thinking and situational awareness
- Clear, confident communication with interdisciplinary teams
- Organized, responsive, and calm under pressure
- Skilled in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Required Experience:
- Current RN license in the state of Texas
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of OR circulating experience
- Familiarity with multiple surgical specialties preferred
- ASC or hospital OR background is a plus
