PAT RN - Total Joint Coordinator

St. Mary's Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with orthopedic experience to join our team as the PAT/Total Joint CoordinatorRN.

Job Summary: 

The Total Joint RN is responsible for the development, coordination and maintenance of the care continuum for total joint replacement patients. The Total Joint RN provides leadership for all aspects of the continuum of care beginning before surgery through post op; including Pre-Admission Testing, Periop Services, inpatient units, post-acute care and all other applicable entities within the orthopedic service line related to evidence-based practice for orthopedic patients. The Total Joint RN will assist in the planning, development, and implementation of program goals and operations. The Total Joint RN coordinates and oversees the ongoing disease-specific certification process to continually improve care for the orthopedic patient population.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license required.
  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience as an RN.
  • Clinical background with experience in orthopedics.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster collaborative relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a track record of process improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of insights for decision-making.
