USPI Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a motivated Bariatric Coordinator RN to join our team. We have 20 private suites and 5 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Bariatric, Orthopedic, General, Neuro/Spine, ENT, Pain, Urology.

Job Duties will include but may not be limited to:

  • Care coordination of the Bariatric program.
  • Oversight of ongoing BSCOE compliance and Bariatric program development.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient and staff education.
  • Coordination of regularly scheduled multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Coordination of support group meetings for patients who have undergone Bariatric surgery at this facility.
  • Develop and maintain the clinical pathways, protocols and order sets for Bariatric procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between the hospital, Bariatric surgeons and the Bariatric surgeon’s practice.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Two (2) years experience in peri-operative care of the Bariatric surgical patient.
  • Current Texas RN License
  • BLS and ACLS required
