Responsibilities
USPI Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. We have 20 private suites and 5 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Bariatric, Orthopedic, General, Neuro/Spine, ENT, Pain, Urology.
Job Summary: The Operating Room Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Employees may be cross trained in other areas of Surgical Services and may be expected to perform duties other than their normal duties as staffing and patient needs change as well as perform other assigned duties.

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
-Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
-Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
-1+ years of experience working as Circulator required.
-Current American Heart BLS certification.
-Scrub experience a bonus, but not required
-CNOR desirable
