Providence Summit Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Clinic Assistant to join our team.   

At Providence Summit Surgery Center, we provide first-class surgical services for local communities and recognize our employees as our number one asset.  We focus on offering a high quality, ambulatory care alternative to a hospital for surgical procedures. We have been in operation at this location since 1985 and perform over 6,000 surgeries per year. Multi-specialty areas include ENT, GI Lab, General Surgery, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Oral Surgery and Urology.

What You Will Do   (Job Summary): 

The Clinic Assistant provides direct patient care by assisting patients and clinic staff with a variety of functions. This position will have a high focus on Central Sterile Processing and OR support and will assist in Pre-Op and PACU as needed maintaining a clean and orderly patient care environment assisting nursing staff with appropriate patient care support. Under the direction of the Business Office Coordinator, will assist with preparing patient charts, reviewing and communicating schedule changes, scanning, and directing inbound calls.  Consistently demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

  • Monday-Friday work schedule!
  • NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours!
  • NO call required!

Starting pay range is  $24 - $28/hour depending on experience

Required Skills:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in any patient care role
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly
  • Effective communication and critical thinking skills
  • Experience cleaning and sterilizing equipment and work areas in medical environment
