Mountain View Surgery Center Scottsdale is seeking a motivated PRN Sterile Processing Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

  • The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
  •  Anticipates the needs of the surgical team.
  • Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.

Required Skills:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
  • 1-2 years of SPD experience; some SPD GI experience preferred.
  • Experience with ordering preferred.
  • Experience with all types of sterilizers.
  • Knows operating room instrumentation.
  • Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 10am to Close.
