Responsibilities
Aloe Surgery Centeris seeking a PRN X-Ray Tech to join the team!
JOB SUMMARY
The X-Ray Tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
Qualifications:Able to read, write, type, and perform calculations at a level generally acquired through completion of high school plus six months or less training beyond high school.
·Able to prepare reports and keep records.
·Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team.
·Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
·Familiar with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
·Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
·State Department of Health - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
·Basic Life Cardiac Support.
Required Skills:
Education and/or Experience:Graduate of an approved school of Radiology. Currently licensed in the state.CPR required, advanced life support certification required.One year experience required intra-operative setting.Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
Active state license and ARRT license required upon hire.- American Heart Association BLS certification required
