Responsibilities
Chief Nursing Officer
An exciting career opportunity is available for the right person as our Chief Nursing Officer.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires a highly motivated, experienced nurse executive. We are committed to providing high quality service to our patients, our staff and our medical staff. As a member of the leadership team, you will set the tone for the hospital. This is a position of high responsibility and high pressure. Required Skills:
In order to be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Recent hospital management experience is required. Minimum of 3 years of hospital management of multiple clinical departments. Supervision of Surgical Services, Medical/Surgical Unit and Pre-op/Recovery is a plus.
- Demonstrate at least 5 years of experience working directly with physicians on key strategic initiatives and projects.
- Demonstrated experience in serving in a leadership role for at least 3 Joint Commission hospital accreditation surveys in the last 10 years.
- Demonstrated knowledge of hospital and nursing regulatory requirements.
- Master''s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
- Bachelor''s Degree in Nursing
- State of Texas Registered Nurse License
