Sterile Processing Tech at Shrewsbury Surgery Center
The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Sterile Processing Certification Program.
- CRCST OR CSPDT certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
- Experience with all types of sterilizers.
- Knows operating room instrumentation.
- Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.
- Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
- Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and department supply items required.
- Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 8 hour shifts.
