Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist - Rad Tech to join our team at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center- Woodlands Parkway. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless surgical and patient care operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality care, has a strong attention to detail, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures to assist surgeons and healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients.
  • Perform intraoperative and diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety protocols, including proper shielding and exposure monitoring.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to provide imaging support during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of imaging studies.
  • Assist in quality control and routine maintenance of imaging equipment.

Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of radiologic imaging techniques and safety procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various imaging needs during surgical procedures.
  • Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and troubleshooting technical issues.

Experience Required

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
  • Current state Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable).
  • BLS certification required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Previous experience in a surgical or hospital setting preferred.
