About Us
Memorial Hermann Surgery Center – Woodlands Parkway is part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), a leading network of ambulatory surgical centers across the country. We specialize in high-quality outpatient procedures and prioritize patient safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Circulate in a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring optimal OR flow and patient safety
- Maintain a sterile field and follow strict infection prevention standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs throughout procedures
- Monitor and document patient status during intraoperative care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Prepare OR equipment and verify availability of instruments and supplies
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced in circulating OR cases across multiple specialties
- Calm, organized, and able to anticipate surgical team needs
- Knowledgeable in sterile technique, OR workflow, and EMR documentation
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced ambulatory environment
- Excellent communicator and reliable team player
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year of circulating experience in the OR (required)
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and surgical documentation systems a plus
