PATIENT ACCOUNT COLLECTOR (FT) TEXAS SPINE AND JOINT HOSPITAL TYLER, TEXAS
Tyler, Texas Texas Spine and Joint Hospital (TSJH)Patient Account Collectoris responsible for review, follow-up, and collection of Insurance payments. Maintain insurance logs, identify payer trends, appeal claim denials, identify over/under payments, and make necessary telephone calls. Must be able to use Excel spreadsheets. Hours are Monday- Friday from 8-4:30pm or 7:30 - 4pm. (hours are somewhat flexible). High school diploma, or equivalent with one year of healthcare experience required including familiarity with Medicare, HIPPA and insurance regulations. Commercial insurance knowledge is a plus.
