SPEECH THERAPIST (PRN) - BRAIN INJURY REHAB TEXAS SPINE AND JOINT HOSPITAL TYLER TEXAS

Works under the direction of the Director of Rehab and provides speech language pathologyservices for individual SLP referrals and for referrals to the interdisciplinary brain injury rehabilitation programs.This includes evaluating patient referrals, structuring, implementing, and progressing all SLP treatment plans, as appropriate with input from the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. The SLP is expected to treat patients with TBI’s, and any acquired cognitive deficits, including CVA referrals.The SLP should be skilled in treating patients with cognitive impairments, speech deficits, and swallowing deficits. This position must be held by a licensed speech language pathologist.
