Responsibilities
Operating Room Registered Nurse / Nurse Educator & Total Joint Coordinator
Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week | No Call | No Weekends | No Holidays
Physicians Surgery Center at Tidewater, a USPI-affiliated multispecialty ambulatory surgery center, is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse / Nurse Educator & Total Joint Coordinator.
This leadership role is responsible for staff education, onboarding, competency validation, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and accreditation readiness. The position serves as a clinical resource and mentor, promoting excellence in patient care, patient safety, and staff development.
As the Total Joint Coordinator, the incumbent oversees patient education, program outcomes, quality metrics, data collection, and performance improvement initiatives related to the center's total joint program.
While the primary focus is education, quality, and program coordination, the position will provide limited operating room circulating support as needed to support patient care and operational needs.

Qualifications
- Current Virginia RN license
- Operating Room nursing experience required
- ASC experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of perioperative standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
