CNA/ Patient Care Tech PRNs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. Houston Physicians Hospital, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated PRN CNA/ Patient Care Tech to join our esteemed team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients, while upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement.
CNA/Patient Care Tech at Houston Physicians Hospital
Duties will include stocking, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones, and, assisting Med/Surg RNs as needed.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories
- Patient Interviewing skills
- Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols
- Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
