Full-Time Pre/Post Nurse Supervisor at Houston Physicians’ Hospital

The Pre/Post Nurse Supervisor is responsible for directing, coordinating and controlling the multidisciplinary activities required to provide a safe environment for patients undergoing surgical intervention. Also responsible for the interpretation, direction and evaluation of nursing practice to insure safe, efficient and therapeutically effective nursing care throughout the Center.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas Nursing License
  • Current CPR, ACLS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Prior leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
