JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lead the transformation of healthcare as the Regional Vice President (RVP) for Ambulatory Surgery Centers in our Florida Region. This influential position offers a unique chance to drive growth, forge innovative partnerships, and shape the direction of multiple centers. You will oversee the integration of these newly acquired centers, including the oversight of operations, financial management, and strategic partnerships while creating a culture of safety and delivering exceptional patient care.

As the RVP of Integration, you will play a key role in leading the integration of newly acquired centers, coupled with driving case volume growth and EBITDA, while actively recruiting top surgeons and strengthening relationships with existing physician partners. Your leadership will propel expansion efforts, fostering a high-performing culture and ensuring minimal employee turnover. In this role, you’ll also champion operational efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and implement strategies that drive long-term success all centers.

Additionally, you will spearhead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during integrations, fostering cultural alignment and employee engagement. By addressing the challenges of cultural change and unifying teams under shared goals, you will build a cohesive organizational identity that enhances performance and drives sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Integration: Seamlessly align operational processes, financial goals, and clinical outcomes across all facilities. Foster collaboration among Surgery Center Administrators, medical staff, and executive leadership to ensure integration initiatives support overarching business objectives and are regularly evaluated at the board level.
  • Strategic Leadership: Design and implement ambitious business plans for each facility, collaborating closely with Surgery Center Administrators to ensure objectives are achieved and regularly reviewed at the board level.
  • Driving Growth: Accelerate case growth by attracting top surgeons’ talent, optimizing partnerships with healthcare systems, and launching new service lines that drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.
  • Leadership Development: Develop and mentor future healthcare leaders by providing comprehensive training in HR, finance, and communications, ensuring a robust leadership pipeline and effective succession plans for all key roles.
  • Partnership Excellence: Proactively oversee physician equity and succession planning while enhancing partnerships with health systems through transparent communication and focus on shared success.
  • Cultural Excellence: Champion USPI's EDGE and leadership initiatives by implementing programs such as BeSafe and BeKind to foster a culture of safety, enhance patient satisfaction, and create a workplace where leadership flourishes.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Must have OR Operations Leadership experience
  • Prefer Master's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration; equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum five years’ experience with exposure to healthcare business development & operations, finance and business consulting
  • Demonstrated experience in developing growth strategies and a proven track record in people m management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and formal presentation communication skills; ability to work well with “C” level healthcare partners, physicians, employees, patients, and fellow workers
  • Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint with strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively articulate financial results and respond to questions from hospital and physician partners
  • Strong mathematical aptitude to assist with financial budgeting, reporting and analysis
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams through operational transitions and integrations while aligning organizational goals and maintaining cultural consistency.

Travel: Up to 75%travel in market required. Selected candidates will be required to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
