We provide first-class surgical services for local communities and recognize our employees as our number one assets. As a Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) at our facility, you have the opportunity to enjoy no calls, no weekends and no holidays.
We focus on offering a high quality, ambulatory care alternative to a hospital for surgical procedures. We have been in operation at this location since 1985 and perform over 6,000 surgeries per year. Specialty areas include ENT, GI Lab, General Surgery, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Oral Surgery and Urology.

Job Summary

A Pre-op (preoperative) Registered Nurse (RN) that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The Pre-op nurse provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The Pre-op nurse supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The Pre-op nurse reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.


Required Skills:

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Florida Nursing License
  • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in PACU or ICU preferred
