The Surgical Institute of Reading, a physician-owned hospital committed to exceptional surgical care, is seeking a Facilities Director to lead our Environmental Services and Maintenance teams. This is a key leadership role where your expertise will help ensure our facilities are safe, compliant, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and support teams across Environmental Services, Maintenance, and Security at our hospital, HOPD, and three physical therapy locations.
- Serve as the Safety Officer and chair the Environment of Care Committee.
- Implement cost-effective systems and best practices to support operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and state regulations.
- Conduct safety audits, manage preventative maintenance, and oversee vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align facility operations with organizational priorities.
- Promote a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (CHFM certification preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical/mechanical systems and facility operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a calm, solutions-focused approach.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, functional, and supportive environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and performing hands-on facility tasks.
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
