Key Responsibilities
- HR Strategy and Leadership:
Shape the HR strategy to align with our facility’s mission and objectives, advising on best practices across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and total rewards. - Talent Acquisition and Development:
Lead the full recruitment process, from sourcing and hiring to onboarding. Strengthen partnerships with local institutions and organizations to attract top talent and ensure robust onboarding for every new hire. - Employee Relations and Engagement:
Build a trusted environment by advising on workplace relations and proactively addressing employee concerns. Champion initiatives that boost employee engagement, morale, and retention. - Regulatory Compliance and Standards:
Ensure the facility’s adherence to healthcare, labor, and safety regulations (HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.). Remain vigilant and up-to-date on federal, state, and local employment laws. - Performance Management and Professional Growth:
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing clear performance management systems, coaching managers, and designing growth opportunities to enhance staff skills and career development. - Compensation, Benefits, and Wellness:
Oversee the facility’s compensation and benefits packages, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our financial health and employee needs. - HR Data Analytics:
Leverage HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions and support senior leadership with insights into workforce trends, turnover, and employee satisfaction. - Risk Management and Crisis Response:
Handle sensitive and complex HR matters with discretion and care. Proactively address risks and manage challenging issues before they escalate.
Required Experience:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other HR certification is highly preferred.
- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, ideally within a healthcare setting.
- Strong grasp of federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proven success in change management, team building, and organizational development
- Professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality
