Position Summary:

Provide courier services to all HPI and Hospital Locations

Essential Functions:

  • Effective and efficient communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to adapt to flexible work schedule, problem solve and decision-making.
  • Satisfactorily demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties outlined in this job description as well as continually demonstrates competency in performing the job duties.
  • Effectively working and cooperating with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
  • Following the directions of supervisors.
  • Refraining from causing or contributing to disruption in the workplace.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Functional Accountabilities:

  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items in a safe, timely manner according to assigned route and schedule.
  • Communicates with dispatchers and other team members to make pickups and deliveries.
  • Prioritizes and plans work according to assigned delivery times and routes.
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Abides by all transportation laws and maintains a safe driving record.
  • Prepares reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
  • Strong time management and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Always works as a team member within the entire facility.

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. 
  • Must have a valid license to drive.
  • Must have a safe driving record
